Planning you child's next birthday party? Planning a school field trip? Planning an activity for your Girl scout or Boy scout troop? NOCGI offers a wide range of youth friendly art activities as well as hot shop classes and bead making classes. We can also arrange demonstrations. Contact us at the studio to discuss your child's event. All private events must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. Prices will vary depending on your activities.

Intro to Glass Blowing private Workshops
In a fast paced and exciting environment with an emphasis on teamwork, students will be introduced to glass. The objective of this experience will be to satisfy students' curiosities with how glass is made. With lots of help from the instructor, each student will create a colorful and inspired glass object. This is the perfect way to spend a couple of hours with a friend and learn something new. Basic materials and tools provided. The cost of this private workshop is $100.00 per person for a 2hr workshop and $150.00 per person for a 3hr workshop. Please contact the studio to reserve this workshop. A deposit of 1/2 down for the entire group is required to book this workshop and is non-refundable.  Full payment due before workshop begins. The ages for this Youth Workshop are 10yrs-17yrs. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone over the age of 14 must have a parental signature on the studio release form. You must have a group of 3 or more to schedule this private workshop.

Intro to Bead Making private Workshops
This 3-hr workshop will cover using a torch to make both fun and functional items out of Moretti/Effetre glass rods. Some techniques that will be covered are forming a gather of glass, making a basic bead on a mandrel, pulling and decorating with stringers and making dots. If time permits, Debi Deaux will demonstrate how to make one of her specialty beads. No glass working experience required. Basic materials and tools provided. The cost of this private workshop is $80.00 per person. Please contact the studio to reserve this workshop.
